“Team Work and Skill are Essential Qualities for Entrepreneurs” during guest lecture at Alva’s Institute of Engineering and Technology-MBA Dept.
Mangaluru: The MBA Department of Alva’s Institute of Engineering & Technology, Mijar had organized a guest lecture on “Entrepreneurship Development Skills and Self- Employment Opportunities” for MBA students under the aegis of CSR Forum of the department on 17.4.2017. The Speaker for the lecture was Mr S S Nayak, CA, a renowned expert in Finance and entrepreneurship domain.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr S S Nayak stressed on the importance of goal setting among the youth. The students should have realistic dreams which are attainable. These dreams should be followed by action. If we come across failure, we must not change our goals, instead, we should focus on changing the way we go about attaining the goals, said Mr S S Nayak.
He also threw light on the incentives and offers provided by the government for women entrepreneurs and MSMEs. Communication with customers, taking ownership and commitment for quality are the ingredients of success for entrepreneurs, said Mr S S Nayak.
Dean MBA, Prof P Ramakrishna gave the introductory remark. Coordinators Dr Nagendra and Prof Gurudatt Somayaji were present during the session. Anvitha compered the programme and Nithesh proposed a vote of thanks.
