‘Telangana Jagruthi Kuwait’ – BANGARU BATHUKAMMA & DASAR SAMBARALU
Kuwait: “Telangana Jagruthi Kuwait”-BANGARU BATHUKAMMA & DASAR SAMBARALU a socio-cultural event was held at the Fintas Wedding hall Fintas. The full-day event consisting of the making of Bathukamma and cultural event was organized by Telangana Jagruthi Kuwait under the Patronage of Hari Prasad Chellamsetty, Telangana Jagruthi Kuwait President Vinay Muthyala and team members, Vijaya Nair (Vice President) welcomed the gathering.
“BANGARU BATHUKAMMA” “Crown of Telanganas cultural event” (which was entered into Gunnies book of records) was graced by Zaid Al Othaibi, Qabzi area Minister; Ananth Kapadia (vice chairman Indian Business and Professional Council; Jostna Muppala (TKS president); Venkat Koduri (UTF President); Narsing Rao K (Rtd.Embassy Official); Jilakara Murali (GULF PK Sangam, President), Karuna Shankar (Operations Manager FICO); Kondal Reddy (President TCS) Abdul Aziz (Managing Director SHG trd.co.,) and TJK Chief Patron Hariprasd, were also among the guests who visited Kuwait.
Bathukamma (‘Mother Goddess come Alive’) represents the cultural spirit of Telangana Kalvakuntla Kavitha (MP) is an ambassador of this cultural event. Kavithakka took the pledge to keep alive this age-old tradition of making Bathukamma set the mood for the special evening of the day.
Special Guests were welcomed on the stage with a warm and cheerful welcome by the audience gathered at the auditorium and the members of TJK. The program kick-started with the lighting of the Bhadra Deepam by Chief Guest, Zaid Al Othaibi (Qabzi area Minister) Guest of Honour Ananth Kapadia, Kuwait Jagruthi Management Committee President Vinay Muthyala, Bahrain Chapter Jagruthi President Hariprasd Chellamsetty and others.
The event was women-centric and held to the facilitation of women. A large number of women gathered in the auditorium was eagerly waiting for the moment to dance the traditional dance of Bathukamma. Women took part with joy and bliss with colorful traditional sarees and wide smiles. They surrounded the flower pyramids all together clapped and sang traditional songs of Telangana along with the beats, each and every woman despite the age participated in the dance.
A Souvenir was released by the chief guests and the guest of honours with TJK members. The TJK president Muthyala Vinay thanked all well-wishers, distinguished guests, and extended special thanks to the event Sponsors in his message he enhanced the importance of Bathukamma and its upliftment by respecting our traditional and local culture.
