The Allied Health Course inaugurated at Father Muller

Mangalore: The AHS course inauguration ceremony for batch 2024-25 was held on 21st October 2024 at 9:00 a.m. in the Father Muller Convention Centre.

Prof. Prathijna Suhasini G R, principal, Mangala College of Allied Health Science, Mangalore was the chief guest for the day. Rev Fr Richard Aloysius Coelho, Director Father Muller Charitable Institutions, Rev. Fr Ajith B Menezes, Administrator FMMC/FMCOAHS/FMCOP, Rev. Fr George Jeevan Sequeira, Administrator FMMCH, Dr. Hilda D’Souza, Principal FMCOAHS and Mrs. Savitha B Kamath, 1 st yr AHS course coordinator graced the stage.

In total 15 various allied courses were inaugurated , with the total strength of 230 students with a symbolic lighting of the lamp.

Dr Hilda D’Souza, Principal, FMCOAHS, welcomed the gathering and introduced the chief guest.

Prof . Pratijna Suhasini G R delivered the inaugural address and spoke on the opportunities in the field of different courses.  Job opportunities, higher studies, and the importance of healthcare professionals in the medical field are abundant but, the skill enhancement is the need of the hour.

Fr George Jeevan Sequeira, Administrator, FMMCH  presented a memento to the chief guest.

Rev. Fr Richard Aloysius Coelho addressed the gathering informing them about campus  discipline, ethics and academics. The college emphasizes on overall holistic growth of the students honing sports and talents that help develop a happier person.

Mrs Savitha B Kamath, 1st year AHS class coordinator proposed the vote of thanks.

The programme concluded with the inaugural ceremony with the institution’s anthem.

Fr Ajith B Menezes, Administrator FMMCH/ FMCOAHS/ FMCOP spoke on campus life and hostel rules post-AHS course inauguration ceremony. Followed by principal Dr. Hilda D’Souza’s address on college discipline and university rules.
