Those Speaking against Savarkar are Anti-nationals – Nalin Kumar Kateel
Udupi: “We need to present the Bharat Ratna to those who fought for India’s independence. Those who have taken all the benefits of independence and are speaking against Veer Savarkar are anti-nationals”, said the state president of BJP Nalin Kumar Kateel.
He was speaking at Hejamadi after inaugurating the ‘Run for Unity’ to mark the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel organised by the District BJP on October 31.
Nalin Kumar further said, “Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel had worked for national integrity and our present Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also walking on the same path and working for the unity of the nation. Patel played a leading role in the country’s struggle for independence and guided its integration into a united and independent nation”, he said.
MLA’s Sunil Kumar and Raghupathi Bhat, Lalaji R Mendon ZP vice president Sheela K Shetty, District BJP president Mattar Rathnakar Hegde and others were also present.
