Three Die in Bus-Car Collision in Sullia
Sullia: Three people died and three others were injured after an Innova Car in which they were travelling collided head-on into a Kerala state Government Bus at Adkar, Jalsur on October 11.
The deceased have been identified as Mohammed Sadiq (31), Majid M (33) and Sunaina (16) from Kemminje Puttur. The injured have been identified as Salman Faris (10), Abubaker (40) and Muhammed (14).
According to sources, on October 11, at around 6:00 pm, an Innova Car carrying 6 passengers along with the driver was on its way to Puttur from Sullia. When they reached near Adkar, Jalsur in Sullia, the car collided head-on into a Kerala state government bus bearing registration number KL 15 A 1747. In the mishap, Mohammed Sadiq, Majid M and Sunaina who were severely injured were rushed to the hospital but succumbed to injuries on the way.
The others injured Salman Faris, Abubaker and Muhammed have been admitted to the KVG hospital, Sullia.
Sullia police have registered a case under section 279, 337 and 304 (A) IPC and investigation is on.
