Three Injured as Tanker Rams into Eicher Truck in Pangala
Udupi: Three persons were injured when a tanker rammed into an Eicher truck from behind, on NH 66 near Pangala under the Kaup Police station limits here on June 23.
According to the Police, when the Eicher medium truck was on its way to Mangaluru, a tanker rammed into it from behind. Due to the impact, the tanker driver lost control and the vehicle overturned on the road median. The driver of the tanker was trapped inside the vehicle for more than an hour.
The Locals along with the Kaup police got the driver out of the tanker. The injured persons were shifted to private hospitals in the city.
Kaup police are investigating the incident and are also collecting information about the injured persons.
