Three from Kalmakar Die in Road Mishap in Goa
Subrahmanya: Three youngsters from Kalmakar near here died in a collision of vehicles in Goa on late Saturday night.
Ten friends had gone in a jeep on a sight-seeing trip to Goa on Friday and were on their way back on the Panvel-Kochi highway. A pick-up transporting chicken collided with their vehicle at Mashe near Canacona.
Charan, Somashekhar and Puneet, all aged 22
Charan Mentekaje (22), Somashekhar Agaladka (22) and Puneet Chennappa Gowda Guddanamane (22) died on the spot.
Pradeep Uluvaru (21) who was driving the jeep, has been severely injured and has been admitted to a hospital in Bambolim.
