Three MBA Students Killed in NICE Road Mishap

Bengaluru: Three MBA students were killed and two others were injured in a ghastly road mishap at Hulimavu, NICE Road here on March 9.

 

The deceased have been identified as Srivasta (24), Harsitha (24) and Shruthi (24). Praveen and Pavitra sustained severe injuries.

According to the police, on March 9 at around 7:30 am, when five students were travelling by car, at Hulimavu when the driver of the car received a call and tried to answer it, he lost control over the vehicle. The car which was travelling at high speed rolled a number of times and stopped after hitting the wall.

The impact was such the car was in a mangled state and the locals had to struggle to pull out the students from the car. All the students were immediately rushed to the hospital, but Srivasta, Harsitha and Shruthi were declared brought dead by the doctors.

Praveen was driving the car at the time of accident. The condition of Praveen and Pavitra is said to be critical.

The Hulimavu police have registered a case and are investigation is on.
