Three Persons Die as Car Rams into Electric Pole in Karwar
Karwar: Three persons were killed on the spot after the Maruti Swift car in which they were travelling rammed into a roadside electric pole. The accident occurred at Majali on NH-66 in Karwar taluk on the evening of Friday, June 29.
The deceased have been identified as Shambhu (28), Nagendra (33) and Srinivas (40) all from Goa.
According to sources, it is believed that the deceased were on their way to Karwar from Goa when the accident took place. The car was totally damaged due to the impact.
A case has been registered in the Chittakul police station.
