Three persons including PSI Turn Saviours as Elderly Woman Falls into Open Well
Udupi: A police officer, staff from Fire service and an auto driver, rescued an elderly woman who accidentally fell into an open well on August 6 at Kukkikatte near Marpalli under the Udupi Town police station limits.

According to sources, an elderly woman from Kukkikatte accidentally fell into an open well near her house. The locals immediately alerted the Udupi Fire and Rescue personnel as well as the Udupi Town Police station.
The Fire and Rescue personnel and Udupi Town PSI Sadashiv Gowroji rushed to the spot. Udupi Town PSI -2 Sadashiv Gowroji, along with Vinayak from the Udupi Fire service and a local auto driver Rajesh Nayak got into the well and with the help of a rope lifted the elderly woman safely.
The locals commended the service of the three saviours.
