Tourism Minister Sa Ra Mahesh visits Sri Krishna Math, says undergoing treatment along with CM

Udupi: The State Minister for Tourism – Sa Ra Mahesh offered prayers at the Sri Krishna Math in Udupi here, on April 30. The minister who arrived here on Tuesday afternoon was welcomed by the officials of the Paryaya Palimar Math. Later, the minister offered prayers to the presiding deity of the Temple.

Addressing the mediapersons, Sa Ra Mahesh said, “I came here along with Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy and former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda to undergo rejuvenation therapy at the private Ayurvedic center in Muloor, Kaup. The treatment has been going on since Sunday, April 28 night.”

CM Kumaraswamy, who came to Kaup to undergo the treatment, had earlier discontinued it and returned to Bengaluru for the funeral ceremony of the JDS leaders who were killed in Sri Lanka.

Recently, former BJP chief minister B S Yeddyurappa had alleged that the coalition government was in deep slumber, even as most parts of the state are reeling under severe drought. Responding to the allegations Sa Ra Mahesh said, “B S Yeddyurappa is a senior politician and he has also served as the chief minister. Normally, Chief Minister Kumaraswamy is busy with his work till 2 am in the morning. He did not come here for enjoyment. He has come here to take care of his health.”
