Town Hall to be Renamed after Kudmul Ranga Rao on Aug 29 – Mayor Bhaskar
Mangaluru: “Various projects worth Rs 47241.10 lakh will be inaugurated on August 29 and the Town Hall will be renamed as “Kudmul Ranga Rao Town Hall” by the Minister for Housing and Urban development and also the District Minister In-charge U T Khader”, said the Mayor of MCC Bhaskar in a press meet held at his chamber here on August 28.
Addressing the mediapersons Mayor Bhaskar said, “The minister will lay the foundation for 18 projects under MCC limits at Mullarkad at 10:00 am and inaugurate 9 projects under smart city projects and 13 projects under Amrit scheme at Town Hall on August 29. The Town Hall will be Renamed after Kudmul Rangarao who strived hard for the development of the coastal district.”
Deputy Mayor Mohammed, Former mayors Mahabala Marla and Sashidhar Hegde, Naveen D’Souza, Praveenchandra Alva, MCC commissioner Mohammed Nazir and others were also present.
