Mangaluru: To mark the Road Safety week, a street play “Jana Jagrati was presented by the MSW students of St Aloysius College along with the traffic West police station, at the Service Bus stand, State Bank here on January 17.
The street play was inaugurated by the ACP Traffic Tilak Chandra. This should not be limited for a day or a week, we need to follow the traffic rules in our day-to-day life. Life is very precious and we all should take care. Negligence, while driving or riding, will lead to tragedy and disaster.”
ACP Tilak Chandra further said, “To bring awareness to the public we have organized various programmes throughout the week. Through the street play, we are trying to educate the general public. People should co-operate with us and follow the traffic rules,” he stressed.
Students from St Aloysius college presented a skit on road safety. Traffic Inspector Mohan Kottari, SI Rudrappa, ASI Vasanth, Manikanta, Santosh Padil and team were also present.
