Tremors in Mysuru scare Kuvempu Nagar denizens
Mysuru: A few denizens of Kuvempu Nagar in Mysuru, experienced anxious moments when they felt tremors under their feet on Thursday afternoon.
Fearing that an earthquake was happening, residents of the area rushed out of their houses, into the open, and began calling their loved ones.
The tremors were felt largely in 3rd cross and 8th cross of Kuvempu Nagar. It occurred at about half past noon and was accompanied by a loud sound.
People reported that they felt the ground under their feet shaking. There are no official reports to substantiate if it was indeed a mild earthquake.
