Tulu Koota Kuwait holds Blood Donation Camp
Kuwait: The Tulu Koota Kuwait organized a blood donation camp on 16th of February 2018, at the Kuwait Central Blood Bank, Jabriya.
Tulu Koota Kuwait indulges itself in various welfare activities which benefit the society in Tulunadu as well are in Kuwait. The Blood Donation camp is one among them which is an attempt to pay back to the society under the caption of “Share a little, Care a little”.
The noble task, the Blood donation camp was symbolically inaugurated by TKK President Wilson D’Souza and Ex-President Chandrahasa Shetty, who was the key person behind meeting the Blood Bank officials and making necessary arrangements while Welfare officer Shankar Shetty successfully coordinated the event. Members of Tulu Koota and other associations took an active part in this noble task. Around 95 participants donated their blood with contentment.
Tulu Koota Kuwait registered the name of the donors to issue a certificate duly attested by the Kuwait Central Blood Bank to all the donors in appreciation of their contribution. Further TKK provided fruits and fruit juice to the donors. The donors appreciated the efforts of Tulu Koota towards the noble cause. The Committee members were present throughout the camp and contributed in various ways towards the success of the event.
President Wilson D’Souza thanked all the staff members of the Kuwait Central Blood Bank for their kind cooperation for the success of the Blood Donation camp.
