Two Arrested in Grotto Demolition case in Bantwal
Bantwal: The Vittal police have arrested two persons in connection with their involvement of destroying the Mother Mary Grotto at Kulal near Kolnadu here on September 29.
The arrested have been identified as Jayaram Naik and Monappa Naik from Kulal.
According to the police on September 28, miscreants had demolished the Grotto at Kulal, Kolnadu and erected saffron flags on it. In this connection, a case was registered in the Vittal police station.
On September 29, the Vittal police arrested Jayaram and Monappa. Both the accused were produced before the ACJ and JMFC court and remanded to judicial custody until October 12.
