Two arrested in Target Group Ilyas Murder case
Mangaluru: The Pandeshwar police along with the CCB police arrested two persons in connection with the murder of Target Group Ilyas on February 8.
The arrested have been identified as Mohammed Sameer alias Robert (27) from Ullal and Nameer Hamza (34) from Manjeshwar Kasargod.
On January 13, Target Group Ilyas was murdered in his apartments near Juma Masjid at Jeppu Kudupady. The assailants barged into Ilyas’ house and stabbed him to death. In this connection, a case was filed in the Pandeshwar police station.
Accused Sameer is involved various crimes and cases have been registered against him in the Ullal police station. Accused Nameer has been involved in murder attempt, kidnapping and theft cases and has cases against him in Konaje, Suratkal and Ullal police stations.
