Two arrested for Selling Ganja at Vamanjoor
Mangaluru: The Mangaluru Rural police arrested two youth while selling Ganja to college students near the Karavali College at Vamanjoor, here on November 8.
The arrested have been identified as Deep and Prajwal.
On getting reliable information about two youth on a Honda Activa and Suzuki Access, selling Ganja near the Karavali College of Pharmacy at Vamanjoor, the police got into action and arrested both Deep and Prajwal.
The police seized 35grams of Ganja, Honda Activa and Suzuki Access used for committing the crime from their possession. The accused have been produced before the court where they were remanded judicial custody.
To curb the Ganja peddling, consuming and selling in the city the Police commissioner T R Suresh, DCP law and Order Hanumantharaya, DCP Crime and Traffic Uma Prashanth are putting their best efforts. Under the able guidance of ACP Rama Rao, the operation was carried out by the Mangaluru Rural Inspector Siddagowda Bhajantri, Sudheer, Kushal Hegde and Lathesh.
