Two more Arrested in Shivaraj murder case
Mangaluru: Two more persons have been arrested on January 26, by the North Subdivision Anti-rowdy Squad in connection with the murder of Shivaraj at Tannirbavi on January 22.
The arrested have been identified as Jeevan Pereira (36) from Tannirbavi and Sathish alias Sacchu alias Sathish Gowdappa (29) from Kudroli, a native of Bagalkot.
On January 22, at around 4:30 am, while Jayaraj Kotian’s brother Shivaraj was sleeping on the Terrace, assailants barged into the terrace, hacked Shivaraj and fled from the spot. Shivaraj who was rushed to the hospital breathed his last on the way.
Based on the complaint the CCB police had arrested Sunil Poojary, Dheeraj and Mallesh from Tannirbavi on the same day of the crime.
On January 26, the police have arrested Jeevan and Satish who had hatched the murder plot of Shivaraj. After the murder, Jeevan and Satish were absconding. Under the able leadership of ACP North Subdivision Rajendra D S, the Operation was carried out by the Anti-rowdy squad Panambur police Inspector Rafiq K M, Kumareshan, Mohammed, Kushal Maniyani, Sathish M, Vijay Kanchan, Isaac, Raj, Sharan Kali, Jagadish Alva, Radhakrishna and Ravi.
