Two Bikers Injured in Separate Mishaps Die in Hospital
Puttur: Two riders who had been severely injured in separate incidents in Puttur and Sullia have died in hospitals.
Saifuddin, who had been injured while riding with his colleague Shaukat after being hit by a KSRTC bus earlier this week, breathed his last in the ICU of the KVG hospital in Sullia. Shaukat had already died while being taken to the hospital.
On July 2, Christopher D’Souza (33), son of Louis D’Souza of Tarigudde of Chikkamudnur village, had lost control over his Honda Activa scooter while riding from Bedrala towards Salmara. Christopher and pillion-rider Francis were injured.
Christopher, after being treated in a hospital in Puttur, was taken to a hospital in Mangaluru where he died late Sunday night.
