Two Kanhangad Youngsters Die in Road Mishap in Piriyapatna
Kasaragod: Deepu and Vijesh, both aged 25 and hailing from Kanhangad south in the district, died in a road mishap at Piriyapatna between Mysuru and Hunsur on Tuesday morning.
Both of them had travelled from here in a scooter four days earlier in order to appear for job interviews in Mysuru.
On the way back from the interview, as they reached Piriyapatna, their scooter was knocked down by a KSRTC bus.
Critically injured, both of them were rushed to a hospital in Piriyapatna, but both died there. They were identified from the identity documents on their persons.
Vijesh worked in the Gulf and had come down on holidays in December last and was to return after the Vishu festival.
Deepu was a photographer in Kovvalpalli in Kanhangad. Their mortal remains have been placed in the Piriyapatna hospital mortuary.
