Two killed as bike skids near Vadabhandeshwara Junction, Malpe
Udupi: Two youth were killed and another injured after the motorbike they were riding skidded at Malpe – Vadabhandeshwara Junction on March 28 late night.
The deceased has been identified as Santhosh Acharya (27) son of Shesha Acharya a resident of Badanidiyooru and Lokesh (29) son of Ramappa Kundar. The injured has been identified as Harish (35) son of Keshava. Keshava’s condition is said to be critical.
According to the Police, the incident occurred late on Wednesday night when the three were returning home on the motorbike at around 12:45 am after watching a movie. As they reached the Malpe Junction the bike skidded and all the three were thrown to the road. Santhosh Acharya was Killed on the spot, Lokesh who was seriously injured was rushed to the hospital but was declared brought dead.
A case has been registered in the Malpe Police Station.
