Two Killed as MLA C T Ravi’s Car Hits Parked Vehicles in Kunigal
Bengaluru: Two youth were killed after the car in which MLA of Chikkamagaluru Constituency C T Ravi was travelling hit them when they were standing at the road side at Urkenahalli in Kunigal on February 19.
The deceased have been identified as Shashikumar (28) and Sunil Kumar (27) from Sooranahalli, Ramanagara.
According to sources, on February 19, early morning a group of friends were on their way back home after visiting Sringeri. They had stopped their cars on the side of the road at Kunigal to relax. While they were standing outside, the car belonging to MLA C T Ravi hit them, killing Shashikumar and Sunil Kumar on the spot.
The MLA also sustained minor injuries and was treated in the hospital. The bodies were shifted to the hospital for post-mortem. The Kunigal police have taken MLA C T Ravi’s Car into their custody.
A case has been registered in the Kunigal police station.
