Two-month-old baby girl dies of Suffocation
Udupi: A two-month-old girl died after milk got stuck in her throat on Saturday at Shiriyara under Kota Police Station limits.
The deceased has been identified as Samraddhi daughter of Shanker Naik of Uli Makki.
Since the infant was underweight during birth, the couple had treated the baby at the Manipal Hospital and brought the baby home 15 days ago.
According to the police while feeding breast milk with a spoon the baby suffocated. The infant was rushed to the community health center at Brahamavar but died on the way.
A case has been registered in the Kota Police Station
