Two more Accused Arrested in Deepak Murder Case
Mangaluru: The Panambur police have arrested two more of the accused in the Deepak Rao murder case here on January 15.
The arrested have been identified as Abdul Aziz alias Aziz (42) and Abdul Azim alias Azim (34) both from Katipalla.
On January 3, when Deepak Rao was on his way to meet his owner Mazid to hand over the collection of the day in the Mobile shop, the assailants came in a white Maruti Swift car and hacked Deepak to death.
The Panambur and the CCB police got into action and on the same day arrested four of the accused. Two of the accused Mohammed Naushad (22) and Mohammed Irshan alias Irsha (21) were produced before the court and were sent to judicial custody. The other two accused Mohammed Nawaz alias Pinky Nawaz (22) and Rizwan alias Ijju (24) were injured during the operations and are admitted to the hospital for treatment.
During the interrogation, the accused revealed that there were more persons involved in the murder. To nab the accused the police formed special teams and succeeded to arrest another two of the accused, Abdul Aziz and Abdul Azim on January 15.
Under the able guidance of Police commissioner T R Suresh, DCP Law and Order Hanumantharaya, DCP Crime and traffic Uma Prashanth the operation was carried out by CCB Inspector Shantharam, PSI Shyamsundar and Panambur Police Inspector Rafiq and team.
