Two Persons Barge into House and Assault Youth at Gun Point at Kulur

Mangaluru: Two persons barged into a house and assaulted a youth at Panjimogeru, Kuloor here on July 23.

According to the complainant Amitha D’Souza, on July 22, at around 10:00 pm, Amitha’s nephew Vishwas and Ravi had a fight regarding a motorbike issue. After the interference of Amitha and her husband, Ravi was sent to his house. On July 23 at around 10:30 pm, when Amitha’s family were getting ready to go to bed after dinner, Ravi along with another person Nissar barged into Amitha’s compound and asked for Vishwas. Nissar abused Vishwas and warned him for fighting with Ravi.

At the same time, Nissar pulled a pistol from his trouser and held it at Vishwas forehead threatening his life. Later when he slapped Vishwas, Amitha’s husband Ronnie D’Souza, daughters Renita and Reema intervened and tried to stop Nissar from assaulting Vishwas. But Nissar and Ravi manhandled Renita and Reema. When the complainant screamed for help, Nissar and Ravi seeing the neighbours rushing for help fled from the spot.

A case has been registered in the Kavoor police station. Police are investigating the case.
