When Team Mangalorean asked Shakeer, if the fire could have been from the electric short circuit, as mentioned in other media, he quickly replied, “How can it be by electric short circuit, when I don’t even have a power connection. I open the shop early during the morning, and close it before sunset, so there is no need of electricity. Therefore, the news of fire through electric short circuit is false. Police will be investigating the cause of the fire, until then I have no clue”. Two of the nearby scrap shops were partially damaged, and their loss was minor, when compared to Shakeer’s scrap shop huge damages.
