Two Youth Drown in Kempu Hole in Kadaba
Kadaba: Two youth drowned in Kempu Hole near Kadaba while they were playing in the water on March 20.
The deceased have been identified as Gurunandan (23) and Venkatesh (22) from Ichilampady, Kadaba.
According to sources, on March 20, five youth along with their two sisters went to Kempu Hole near Inchilady to take a dip in the water. While they were playing, Gurunandan suddenly drowned. Venkatesh who was nearby immediately rushed to rescue Gurunandan and he too drowned. Others screamed for help and also informed their parents.
The locals rushed to the spot and searched for the bodies. On March 20 night both the bodies were recovered and sent for post-mortem.
The Kadaba Police Sub Inspector Rukma Naik and team visited the spot for further investigations. A case has been registered in the Kadaba Police station.
