Two Youth from Bengaluru Drown at Kaup Beach
Udupi: Two Youth from Bengaluru who ventured into the sea for swimming along with their friends drowned at the Kaup Beach here, on October 18.
The deceased have been identified as Rupesh (21), and Karthik (23) both are from Hesaraghatta, Bengaluru.
According to the Kaup PSI Rajashekar Saganur, five friends had come to the Kaup beach and had ventured into the sea for swimming. Unfortunately, two of them could not fight the strong waves and drowned. The bodies were retrieved with the help of local fishermen.
A case has been registered in the Kaup Police Station and investigation is on.
