Two Youth Killed in Road Mishap at Jakribettu
Bantwal: Two bike riders were killed in a KSRTC bus and Motorbike collision at Jakribettu here on October 7.
The deceased have been identified as Charan (18) from Kudupu Mangaluru and Mohammed Naushad (18) from Dandegoli, Bantwal.
According to sources, on October 7, a KSRTC bus plying from B C Road to Karinja Temple road, at Jakribettu lost control and collided into the bike. Both the bike riders were trapped under the bus and their condition was critical.
The locals removed the trapped riders with great difficulty and rushed them to the hospital where they breathed their last.
The Bantwal traffic police visited the spot for investigation.
A case has been registered in the Bantwal Traffic police station.
