UAE: Abu Dhabi Karnataka Sangha held Shri Shanaishchara Puja in the presence of Shri Vikhyathananda Swamiji of Gurukripa Sevashram Ballyottu Math, at NMC Foodland Hall Abu Dhabi here, on April 11.
The programme began with Shri Shanaishchara Puja, in the presence of Dr B R Shetty Chairman NMC and Sudheer Shetty President UAE Exchange Global.
Sarvotham Shetty, President of Abu Dhabi Karnataka Sangha, welcomed the devotees who had gathered in large numbers. Manohar Tonse briefed on the 33 year journey of the Abu Dhabi Karnataka Sangha and its activities to the gathering.
Shri Vikhyathananda Swamiji of Gurukripa Sevashram, Ballyottu Math was felicitated by Karnataka Sangha Abu Dhabi. The team members of the Shanaishchara Samiti Pakshikere were also felicitated on the occasion.
The team of Shanaishchara Samiti Pakshikere, Dakhina Kannada District beautifully presented “Shani Kaata”, Yakshagana taala maddale which added more attraction to the programme.
Leelaksha Karkera of Namma Kudla, the first Tulu channel, was felicitated for uplifting and spreading the sweetness of the Tulu language around the world.
Shri Shanaishchara Puja was traditionally and systematically performed by well known Purohit, M J Praveen Bhat and was followed by his felicitation.
Sarvotham Shetty and his wife were also felicitated by the Sangha on the occasion.
A large number of devotees in Abu Dhabi gathered and participated in the Shanaischara Puja for ‘Shanidosha nivarana’ to seek blessings of God to solve all unseen problems in future.
On behalf of Abu Dhabi Karnataka Sangha, Sarvotham Shetty delivered the vote of thanks. The Puja concluded with the Maha Mangalaarathi.
