UAE: To mark the Golden Jubilee of Sarojini and Narayana Shetty’s wedding, their son Praveen Shetty held a blood donation camp at the Latifa Hospital Dubai, here on May 22.
A large number of staff voluntarily visited the hospital and donated blood, after understanding the importance of blood donation.
Chairman of Fortune Group of hotels Praveen Shetty addressing the donors said, “A single donor can save three lives, a single gesture can create a million smiles”. He further said, “I am overwhelmed by the response of my well-wishers who have come voluntarily to donate blood.
He further said, “Blood is a life saving resource that is always in short supply. Blood cannot be produced or manufactured anywhere in the world or in the Labs. He urged people to come forward and donate blood so that many lives can be saved. Blood donation is a noble cause and it is unmatched with any other donations. We realize the importance of blood donation only when we are in need of blood”.
He also extended his gratitude to his staff, well wishers, and the management of Latifa hospital for the success of the Blood donation camp.
Praveen Shetty took the initiative to organize the camp to bring smiles on the occasion of 50th wedding anniversary of his parents Sarojini and Narayana Shetty on May 22.
