UAE: Shri Shanaishchara Seva Samithi, Dubai vibrantly celebrated the Shri Shanaishchara Puja, to mark their 5th Anniversary under the leadership of Shri Vikhyathananda Swamiji of Gurukripa Sevashram Ballyottu math, at the JSS School auditorium, Dubai here, on April 10.
Shri Vikhyathananda Swamiji of Gurukripa Sevashram, Ballyottu Math was received by Shri Shanaishchara Seva Samithi in a grand and traditional procession with folk art and traditional Bombe Kunitha, Kolata, Chande, Bhoota Kunitha, Tiger dance, Kerala channde vadyam and Purna kumbha swagatha by sumangalies which was well appreciated by the huge crowd of devotees gathered.
Later, the Swamiji proceeded towards the well decorated Puja hall which was set up by Rajesh Kutthar and team, which included a beautiful chariot shaped mantap decorated with flowers and fruits that impressed the devotees and made the environment more meaningful.
The team of Shanaishchara Samiti Pakshikere, Dakhina Kannada District beautifully presented “Shani Katha”, Yakshagana taala maddale which added more attraction to the programme. The team members were then felicitated by the committee.
Melodious bhajans from representatives of various bhajana mandalis created a perfect environment for programmes, supported by Rajesh Kutthar with the tabla and Raghu Poojary with the Harmonium.
U T Khader, Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Govt. Of Karnataka, who graced this function as a guest was felicitated by the Shri Shanaishchara Seva Samithi, Dubai. Khader appreciated the organizers for holding the Shani Puja and for their effort and dedication for preserving their tradition and culture.
Shri Vikhyathananda Swamiji of Gurukripa Sevashram, Ballyottu math was felicitated by Shri Shanaishchara Seva Samithi for his contribution towards society by providing shelter and
education for the needy, and also donated Rs 1.25 lakh to Guru Krupa Central School, Ballyottu.
Leelaksha Karkera and Soumya Leelaksha Karkera of Namma Kudla, the first Tulu channel, were felicitated for uplifting and spreading the sweetness of the Tulu language around the world.
During the same occasion , a free Medical and Dental camp was held by the Thumbay Hospital. The medical camp provided medical services that included Blood pressure checkup, consultation with Physician (GP), RBS by Glucometer on Physicians request. Dental service included a general checkup by the general dentist.
From March 28 to April 25, free consultation will be offered by the specialists as a follow up. There is a 20% discount on radiology and laboratory services. Large number of gathering have been benefited by extended services of Thumbay Hospital for noble cause.
Shri Shanaishchara Puja was traditionally and systematically performed by well known Purohit, M J Praveen Bhat.
A large number of devotees in Dubai and the other emirates gathered and participated in the Shanaischara Puja for ‘Shanidosha nivarana’ and to seek blessings of God to solve all unseen problems in future.
