Udupi: A 37-year-old teacher was killed in a road accident at Brahmavar here on February 23.
The deceased has been identified as Jyoti (37), wife of Nagendra, a resident of Sastan.
According to police, Jyoti and her husband were on their way home on the two wheeler when a truck collided into their bike. Jyoti was thrown thrown to the road, being seriously injured, Jyoti was rushed to the hospital but she succumbed to the injuries.
Jyoti was a Hindi teacher at the Government Pre-University College, Brahmavar and Nagendra is working in the Udupi court. Jyoti is survived by husband and a daughter.
A case has been registered in Bramhavar police station.
