Udupi: A Bike rider died when his two-wheeler hit a city bus near Diana Hotel, Jodukatte here, on March 3.
The deceased has been identified as Krishna Bhat (54), a resident of Puttur. He was an employee at a bank in Udupi.
According to the eyewitnesses, Krishna Bhat was heading towards the city from the court road. The city bus ‘Mahadevi Travels’ was plying from Ajjarkadu towards the city. Near Diana Hotel, the bike hit the bus. Krishna Bhat died on the spot due to severe injuries.
A case has been registered in the Udupi Traffic Police Staion.
