Udupi: Mohammed Asif (35), son of Abdul Rahman of Bannanje, had been critically injured in a road mishap in Ajjampura of Chikkamagaluru district on Aug 15.
He had been hit by a bus from behind while riding his bike at Ajjampura on the way to his wife’s home. He had been thrown to the road and had suffered major injuries.
He was admitted to Kasturba hospital in Manipal and was lying in a state of coma, according to his friends’ circle. Having failed to recover, he passed away in the hospital in the early hours of Saturday, Sep 19
He was employed with a CCTV installation firm in Udupi. He is survived by wife and a daughter.
