Udupi: A biker, who jumped the red signal along with his friend, and misbehaved with the traffic police at Karavali Junction was arrested by the police here on September 12.
According to the Traffic PSI Madhu T S, two youth were stopped by the traffic police constable on duty at Karavali Junction for jumping the traffic signal. A commotion erupted between the traffic cop and the youth. When the duo misbehaved with the traffic cop, he alerted the interceptor vehicle on duty to the spot.
The traffic police then detained both of them and registered a case. They were fined and later released by the police. One youth is identified as Kishan a native of Rajasthan.
