Udupi: A bus conductor was stuck and severely injured between two buses at the Service Bus Stand here on Saturday, March 7.
The injured has been identified as Chetan. A parked SVT bus accidentally moved ahead while Chetan was crossing. The bus hit another bus named ‘Rakesh’ that was ahead. Chetan who got stuck in between the two buses was severely injured.
Bus drivers and conductors of other buses pulled Chetan out and shifted him to a local hospital. His condition is said to be critical.
Traffic PSI Jaya arrived at the spot with his team and seized the buses. A case has been registered in the Traffic Police Station Udupi and investigation is on.
