Udupi CMC Carries out Spraying Operation to Sterilise City

Udupi: The Udupi city Muncipal Corporation on Saturday launched a drive to spray and disinfect the city as a precautionary measure against the novel coronavirus.

The health department team along with the Fire department and field workers of CMC carried out sterilizing operations in all the 35 wards.

The Udupi CMC Commissioner Anand Kallolikar said that the spraying exercise will continue for three days. With virtually no traffic or vendors on the roads, it was easier for the CMC staff to cover maximum area, which is otherwise difficult, he said.
