Udupi Dist Youth Cong demands denial of permission for Mangaluru Chalo Bike Rally
Udupi: The District Youth Congress has appealed to the district administration not to give permission to the Mangaluru Chalo Bike Rally organised by the BJP Yuva Morcha. President of District Youth Congress Vishwas Amin said that the twin districts are known for communal harmony, BJP leaders are indulged in destroying the social fabric of the twin districts by spreading hatred. The bike rally is a deliberate attempt to flare up communal clashes in the twin districts.
The rallies organised by the BJP in the past have witnessed communal tensions. The bike rally organised by the BJP Yuva Morcha may lead the party activists to incite communal violence by giving communal speeches. If any untoward incidents are reported in the district the BJP Yuva Morcha will be solely responsible.
The Deputy Commissioner of Udupi district and District Superintendent are requested to refrain from giving permission for the bike rally organised in Udupi by the BJP Yuva Morcha. Officials will be consulted in this regard and a memorandum will be submitted.
Fake news and hatred is already spreading on the social media regarding the bike rally. People should not give heed to such fake news circulated online. People should thrive towards maintaining communal harmony in the twin districts.
