Udupi Dist Youth Congress celebrates Children’s Day at Krishnanugraha Child Adoption Centre
Udupi: Childhood is a wonderful moment in everyone’s life. The good quality here is learning, and education that is set for future success. There is no discrimination between caste, class-oriented, superiority of children. With this feeling, the Udupi District Youth Congress celebrated the Children’s Day, the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, who was the country’s first Prime Minister at Krishnanugraha Child Adoption and caring centre Kodavoor here on Wednesday, November 14.
Kishan Hegde Kolkebail general secretary of Udupi District Congress who was the chief guest of the function said, Jawaharlal Nehru always loved children and also loved to play with them. Even though he was busy as the Prime Minister of Independent India, he did not avoid playing with children. Today the district youth congress celebrating his birth anniversary at this adoption centre is appreciable. Youth Congress should follow the disciplined life and great principles of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, he said.
The district youth congress committee handed over day to day usable items to Krishnanugraha Child Adoption and caring centre Kodavoor on the occasion.
