Udupi District JD(S) Celebrates Boje Gowda’s victory

Udupi: The leaders of Udupi district JD(S) celebrated the victory of Boje Gowda in the south-west teacher’s constituency.

After the election results were declared, the party workers and leaders gathered at the Chittaranjan Circle and distributed sweets and burst firecrackers.

Speaking on the occasion District JD(S) president Yogish Shetty said “I congratulate all the teachers for supporting our JD(S) candidate Boje Gowda in the teacher’s constituency MLC elections. The victory in the elections is a new beginning in the coming days for elections in the local bodies. with the support of Chief Minister Kumaraswamy, we are ready to carry out overall development of the Udupi district”.

He predicted that the JD(S) would also win the elections for CMC and Lok Sabha in Udupi district.
