Udupi District Muslim Okkuta to hold Unity Conference on March 4
Udupi: The Udupi district Muslim Okkuta will be organising the Unity Conference on the theme “Empower the community to strengthen the Nation” on Sunday, March 4 at the Mahatma Gandhi Ground Beedinagudde at 3:30 pm.
Speaking at a press meet at Udupi Jamia Masjid on February 28, Khathib Abdul Rasheed convener of the Unity Conference said that the Muslim community has contributed socially, economically and politically for the development of the nation. To continue the same support in the coming days the Okkuta has organised a Unity conference. More than 10,000 people were expected from Udupi and other neighbouring districts.
Al-haj Ibrahim Musliyar Bekal (Khazi, of Udupi district) will be inaugurating the conference with Dua. Moulana Thoukeer Raza Khan (president of Ithihad-e-Millath Council) will deliver the inaugural address. Al Haz Twaqa Ahmed Musliyar (Khazi, Mangalore District) will deliver the concluding Speech. Mohammed Yaseen Malpe president of Muslim Okkuta Udupi district will deliver the Keynote address on the occasion.
Hazarath Chisththi Dewan Syed Zainul Abedin (Sajjad Nasheen & Diwan, Khaja Moinuddin Chishti Dargah, Ajmer), Moulana Sajjad Nomani (Spokes Person, Muslim Personal Law Board & Scholar, Tableed Jamath), Mouland Sheikh Asgar Ali Imam Mehadi (National President Jamiyath Ahle Hadees), E Aboobakkar (National Vice-president of Jamat-e-Islami Hind and Abdussalam Puttige (Chief Editor Vaartha Bharathi, Kannada Daily) will take part as chief guests and address the gathering. Azeezuddin Azeez Belagaumi (famous Urdu Poet) will motivate the gathering with his Shayari.
