Udupi district NSUI holds condolence meet for Dharam Singh

Udupi: The Udupi district NSUI unit on Friday, July 28, organised a condolence meeting at the District Congress Bhavan to mourn the passing away of former Chief Minister Dharam Singh.

 

Addressing the gathering NSUI in-charge Chetan Gowda said that we are deeply saddened by the death of former chief minister Dharam Singh, Congress has lost a senior and great leader. Congress has lost its strongest pillar, Dharam Singh was loved by all, he had worked without any political differences for the people of all communities. He played an important part in the development of the state as well as the Congress Party. People like Dharam Singh are role models. We should imbibe his values. This will be our tribute to him, he added.

Christon D’Almeida, District president NSUI, NSUI leaders Srijith, Harsith, Vijay, Marsh, Vishak, Jovita and others were present.
