Complaints about parking and traffic chaos in the district dominated the Phone-in programme. The callers complained about wrong-side driving, illegal parking, traffic jams etc.

A caller from Gundibail complained that the people were parking their vehicles on both sides of the road which creates inconvenience to others vehicles and pedestrians. The SP assured strict action against the same.

Many callers expressed concerns over various problems such as parking spaces in the city, violation of traffic rules, private buses, etc.

Later, speaking to media persons, SP Nisha James said, “To prevent accidents and to ease the movement of vehicles, the National Highway Authority of India and District Police plans to install traffic signals at important junctions on National Highway 66.
