Udupi: “Children should be educated about our nation’s history along with their family history,” said Pramod Madhwaraj, MLA of Udupi constituency. He was speaking after inaugurating the Children’s day celebrations organized by the Department of Information and Public Relations at Volakadu School here, on November 14.

The foundation for the country’s socio-economic progress was laid by Jawaharlal Nehru. We started with nothing after independence but today we are a superpower. Children should emerge as global leaders promoting the spirit of nationalism and also leading the nation towards overall development,” he added.
