Udupi: ‘Long Live Don Bosco’, children yelled in joy and happiness at Don Bosco Youth Centre, Shirva as they have come here to spend their long summer vacation to learn and live the spirit of their childhood. Summer Thrill – 2015, a camp organised by DBYC Shirva is place where your talents are recognized, nurtured and exhibited. The centre is run by priests of Salesians of Don Bosco who are today the companions, guides to scores of youth residing in and around Shirva.
Smiles define the happiness of children who are never tired while dancing and singing at the Summer Thrill. Learning is all of fun here, variety of short term courses attract children, and hands are always up for all courses, trainers teach here. Salesian fathers are known for their unique skills in training youth, it’s a treat for children to learn different musical instruments from the music maestros. Dancing, photography, theatre and different other courses are what children are interested in.
