Udupi: Al Ihsan Shari’at College principal and joint qazi of Udupi, Chikkamagaluru and Hassan districts, P M Ibrahim Musliyar, also known as Shaikhuna Bekal Ustad, is on a visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
He is to take part in the Eid Milad rally in the Dakshina Karnataka Sunni Centre (DKSC) UAE’s 15th annual meet in Dubai on January 9.
As part of the programme, children’s talent and skill presentation will be held in the Indian Academy School auditorium in Al Qusais, Dubai at 10 am on the day.
It will be presided over by Syed K S Atakkoya Tangal Kumbol, president of the DKSC central committee and of Markal Talimul Ihsan Muloor. At the finale, Shaikhuna Ali Kunhi Ustad Siria will perform ‘dua’.
Dr Mohammed Fazil Razzi Kavalakatte, Mustafa Sa’adi of MTI Muloor, Karnataka waqf board director Shaffi Sa’adi and many scholars will take part in the programme. Maulana Naufal Sakhafi Kalasa will deliver the main discourse, says a media release.
