Udupi: Sharline D’Sa, Belman Elected President of ICYM Udupi Diocese
Udupi: Sharline D’Sa from Belman parish of Shirva deanery was elected as the president during the annual meeting. The elections for the new office bearers was held at the Don Bosco Hall, Mother of Sorrows Church, Udupi on 18th June 2017. The annual general body meeting was held under the leadership of Loyal D’Souza, later the session continued to the election of office bearers for the year 2017-18. A session on ‘social sensitization’ was conducted by Dr Vincent Alva, Principal, Milagres College; Kallianpur & the Holy Eucharist was celebrated by Fr Anil Jacob D’Sa, Regional Youth Director of Karnataka Region.
Fr Edwin D’Souza, the Diocesan Youth Director, presided the oath-taking ceremony of the new office bearers.

Sr Hilda Mascarenhas and Walter D’ Souza, Diocesan animators and others were present. Former president Loyal D’Souza welcomed the gathering while the newly elected president Sharline D’Sa delivered the vote of thanks. Lavita Pinto, Gangolli compered the entire programme. Around 132 youth were present on the occasion.
