Udupi: Srinivas Prasad’s Allegations on bribing Digvijay Singh are Baseless – Pramod Madhwaraj
Udupi: Srinivas Prasad’s age may have led him to level false allegations against me said Minister-in-charge district and Minister for Sports, Fisheries and Youth Affairs Pramod Madhwaraj he was speaking to the media persons during his visit to inspect the construction work of Panchami Kana Bridge, Neelavar here on March 26.
Madhwaraj was responding to the allegations levelled by Srinivas Prasad against him on bribing Digvijay Singh with Rs 10 crore for elevating him as the Minister during the election campaign in Nanjangud.
I have not become Minister to receive or give bribe, it is with the people’s and party workers support I have become the Minister. I process all the files received at my office in one hour. I have worked with Minister Srinivas Prasad as his Parliamentary secretary for 9 months and he has witnessed my hard work and dedication. His age may have led him to giving such a statement, he added.
